The Ruppe-Hawkins Family opened Gigi’s Cupcakes in December 2010. With lots of love and yummy ingredients they are selling tons of cupcakes. The first Dallas store is in the heart of Inwood Village. They already have acquired land on the corner of Midway and Park in Plano, for their second location.
With clients like Neiman Marcus and Southwest Airlines, Gigi’s Dallas is a winner. Gigi’s is a Christian based franchise. They have, in six short months given thousands of cupcakes to organizations like American Heart Association, (they donated a cupcake for dessert to each person at the “Go Red” American Heart luncheon in June) Crystal Charity Ball, Ebby Halliday’s 100th Birthday Events, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, YPO, Muscular Dystrophy Association and Interfaith Housing Coalition, to name a few.
The Gigi’s gang now has 37 stores across the United States with 10 more openings in the works. Gigi’s Cupcakes are $3 each or $2.75 each if purchased by the dozen. Each purchase includes a specially designed gift box, making a Gigi’s cupcake the perfect gift.
